Position Overview

Our client, a well-established and highly respected local company, is seeking a dependable and professional Office Assistant to support daily administrative operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail who is comfortable working independently and enjoys contributing to a positive, organized office environment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential.

Location: Onsite - SE Portland

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Pay Rate: $20-$24/hour (based on experience)

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and provide general reception support
  • Perform accurate data entry, including employee time and vendor invoices in QuickBooks
  • Contact customers regarding Accounts Receivable inquiries
  • Complete general administrative tasks such as filing, mailing, and document organization
  • Manage post office and bank visits as needed
  • Maintain office supplies and assist with coordinating office lunches, snacks, and related needs
  • Support additional office tasks as assigned
